Migrant Rights Centre Ireland
MRCI works across Ireland for justice, empowerment, and equality for migrant
workers and their families.
overview
Through our Drop-In Centre, national helpline and email services, we provide free and confidential advice, support and information to some 2,000 people every year on a huge range of issues - from immigration and employment to exploitation and injustice.
We don't stop at service provision,
though - our goal is for people to be empowered to make change
happen! MRCI's work is rooted in community work practice, which is based
on the principles of social justice, equality and anti-discrimination. We
help migrant workers to come together to identify shared issues, build
power and take collective action for change.
where your money goes
When you donate to MRCI, your money will...
- allow a caseworker to give advice, support and comfort to someone in a difficult situation at work or at home, or
- support domestic workers to meet, share their stories and campaign for decent work and respect, or
- help a victim of trafficking for forced labour, or
- allow us to reach out to workers in isolated and exploitative situations, or
- allow a campaign group to make a short film, send a message to undocumented people in America, or make some noise!
