Charity Description :
Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland was founded on the 26th April 2010 as a primary service, training and placing assistance dogs to children on the autism spectrum. We are a National Childrens' charity (CHY 19293) with our headquarters in Mallow, Co Cork
Our charity provides a valuable service that has life changing effects for both the children on the spectrum and their families.
We provide our dogs free of charge but each dog costs us in the region of €15,000 to train and with no government funding we rely exclusively on fundraising and donations.
