Q: What charities are listed on iDonate.ie

Q : Is iDonate.ie only for Registered Charities ?
No. We are open to Registered Charities and Not For Profits Organisations (NFPs). Both charities and NFPs will be checked to ensure they are eligible to avail of iDonate services.
Q: What charges do Charities Pay?
We do not charge any setup fee or ongoing monthly fees to Charities & NFP who use our services. We take a small commission on donations made online. This is to cover Credit Card charges, VAT and running costs.
Q : How are Payments processed?
All payments are processed via Realex Payments. Realex is fully PCI compliant to the highest level of PCI, and was one of the first PSP’s in Europe to deliver this with Level 1 certification achieved in October 2003. We appeared on the VISA website as a case study on implementing the PCI DSS. For more info please visit http://www.realexpayments.com .
iDonate also have a SSL in place to ensure your credit card details are protected at all times.
Q: Do you store Credit Card Details.
No Credit Card details will ever be stored by iDonate.ie . All Credit Card details are passed securely to Realex Payments via SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
Q: When will the charities receive donations?
We transfer all monies to charities bank accounts during the first week of the month following the donations.
Q: Are my donations eligible for Tax Relief ?
If a donor gives more than €250 donation to charity, either in the form of a lump sum payment or by way of direct debits / standing order, where the amount for the year is more than €250, the donation may qualify for tax relief. For further details on Tax Relief please click here.
