In July 2014, we will be taking on the Channel swim challenge, in the form of a relay team of 7 women, from Dover to France in aid of Irish Deaf Women Group. This page is to keep you up to date on what is happening.

IDWG aim to provide information, events workshops and services provided with interpreter in ISL Irish sign language
For all deaf women all over Ireland and it very beneficial to us .
To empower Deaf women through further and continuing education using their preferred language – Irish Sign Language (ISL)
To organise training workshops on assertiveness and empowerment for Deaf women to participate in Irish society.
To reduce the barriers and social exclusion of Deaf women scattered around Ireland
Production of ISL-based DVD providing information (health/social service) for all Deaf women in Ireland.
