North West STOP provides free counselling services to people of all ages who are in need of support across the north west of Ireland. Northwest STOP (formerly STOP Suicide) was founded in 2004 by families who were bereaved by suicide.  We are a community, voluntary body that works to prevent suicide by informing, educating and promoting positive suicide prevention policies throughout the west and northwest of Ireland.  Our office is located in Drumkeeran, Co. Leitrim.

Our fully qualified Garda Vetted Counsellors are located across Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, Cavan, Longford, Mayo, and Roscommon.  Each of the counsellors have their own counselling rooms available.
