Hope For Joanna

Last December Joanna was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Stage 4, a very aggressive type of brain cancer.

After a course of radiotheraphy and chemotheraphy treatments, special diets, psychotheraphy etc., unfortunately last Monday Joanna received news that the treatment has not worked and her condition is worsening. Her prognosis is now only 6 months. Joannas only hope is Immuno Neuro Surgery this treatment is very expensive so we need to raise money as soon as possible to give Joanna a chance to survive.

Please visit Joannas web page for a full overview of her situation: www.hopeforjoanna.com

overview

A note from Joanna -

I don’t know how many of you have come across with my blog (foodforbodymindandsoul.com) and already know that last December I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Stage 4, a very aggressive type of brain cancer.

After a course of radiotheraphy and chemotheraphy treatments, special diets, psychotheraphy etc. which were supposed to work, unfortunately last Monday I got the worst news! Tumors have grown almost double in size and a third one is emerging. Prognosis is now only 6 months!

Of course, some day all we are going to die but when you are only a 39 year old mum with two little kids, recently separated and with such a zest for life things look fearful.

Thus, let’s turn fear to hope, love and gratitude because only feelings with higher vibes can help us to see both the bigger picture and the little things that matter the most in life and find solutions.

I believe that death is not the biggest loss in life. The biggest loss is the energy that dies within us every day while we are still alive. I’ll keep fighting and hoping no matter what the doctors tell me. Just because I am a natural born fighter and positive believer! Nobody can give me an expiry date! There is also GOD who certainly knows best when my end is coming!

Doctors can kill or cure with ‘words’ when they become ‘swords’.

Unfortunately, for GBM there is no cure yet, but there is a doctor in Belgium who has been FDA approved by the Americans and I have taken great recommendations for him; he promises that does miracles. You can check him out here: http://www.immunoneurosurgery.com/default.aspx

The surgery and the treatment though cost around 200k euros, and my time is limited!

Another option to gain some time is Dr Zamboglou in Germany who can shrink my tumours through another method called brachytheraphy but this is only to buy me some time, until I get the other treatment or any other clinical trial that might arise in the meantime.

I would really appreciate if you could make any donation no matter how big or small for this great cause, trying to save my life!

You can donate through iFundraise www.ifundraise.ie/HopeForJoanna

Thank you kindly deep down from my heart and I wish you all to enjoy love, happiness, great health in your life and don’t forget always to show your gratitude for everything!

Love, Joanna
