Irish Community Rapid Response - By Land and Air are committed to providing safe, effective, and timely emergency medical care to those seriously ill or injured in Ireland through the provision of a network of volunteer doctors, Rapid Response Vehicles and a dedicated Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).

We believe in healthcare equity. We want to provide emergency pre hospital care to everyone in Ireland, particularly those in rural and inaccessible parts of the country.
AIR AMBULANCE (HEMS) The cost of running our HEMS operation is €1.4 million
VOLUNTEER DOCTORS Merit 3 training for each GP is at a cost of €3,000 per GP.
RAPID RESPONSE VEHICLES It cost €70,000 to establish one RRV in a community area in need.
Noel Harrinton is based in Sneem and needed urgent medical care in July. It would have taken several hours to get him to hospital by land. Our Air Ambulance was able to transfer him to Cork University Hospital in 25minutes. "I still remember the advanced paramedics coming in and taking complete control. They opened my shirt and did what they needed to do immediately. I call them my earth angels. That's how I feel about them, I really do!"
