Gay Switchboard

Cause Description

Gay Switchboard Ireland provides a listening, support, information and signposting service for anyone who needs to discuss issues relating to sexuality.

Our volunteers offer a point of contact and solidarity to everyone by being supportive, empathic and inclusive to those who use the service.

Where Your Money Goes

Gay Switchboard Ireland recieves no state funding and relies heavily on the good will and support of the community that it supports.
While it doesn't cost a huge fortune to provide the service, we do operate on a shoestring and provide good value for money.

Our trained volunteers give their time for free!!

Funds are used to pay general overheads such as rent, phone bills and training costs.

We guarantee that EVERY cent recieved goes directly to support the services that Gay Switchboard Ireland provides.
