Team Neil Farrugia - Football

Neil Farrugia played with the UCD Under 19s beofre moving up to the first team, where he won the 2018 First Division title alongside Gary O'Neill and Liam Scales. In 2019, Neil trained with Manchester City's under 23 team. However, shortly afterwards it was announced that he had signed for Shamrock Rovers in the Summer transfer window.

"I wanted to be involved in the TUHF Virtual Cycle as I play for Shamrock Rovers just down the road from the hospital and I really appreciate all the work that the staff do. I enjoy cycling around Wicklow in the off season and though I will not be able to cycle a huge amountdue too the fact that we are still in season, I am really excited about raising as much funnds for TUHF as possible! The funds will go towards building a new sensory room for TUH's Emergency Deptartment. This is a great initiative to be apart of. Hospitals and ED's can be quite distressing environments which can cause sensory overload for some, especially people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorders. Building a safe space away from the over stimulation would greatly help the patients along with their quality of care."
