Sligo CIL strive to promote these services, as well as projecting positive images and perceptions of disabled people.
The Sligo Centre for Independent Living Ltd (Sligo CIL) is a non-profit organisation. We have been providing services to people with physical and/or sensory disabilities since 1996. The organisation is a registered charity with a focus on inclusion, equality and empowerment for people with disabilities.
These support needs naturally vary from person to person and as a result have the ability to evolve, change and assist the individual to lead an independent life where and when support is most needed.
The Sligo Centre for Independent Living Ltd (Sligo CIL) began its work in 1996 when a group of local people came together and formed a Sponsor Group for a FAS Community Employment Project to provide a Personal Assistant service for people with disabilities.
All money raised will be used to benefit Sligo CIL's Service Users -people with disabilities.
