We have been on standby to assist the HSE, but our support to the community has continued. So far in this pandemic we have reached well over 7,500 people in the Limerick Area with our services, delivering over 7,200 meals with more than 1,500 volunteer hours into this to make it happen!
Our other services include phone support and patient transport, we completed over 60 since April. Patient transports are for those who would not make it to necessary appointments otherwise or are offered to palliative care patients.
All services we provide are completed on a needs basis, this means all who receive our help/aid have an identified need for it.
We want to continue what we are doing and do more!
