Camphill Communities of Ireland
Camphill Communities of Ireland provide the following services over our 17 communities and centres throughout Ireland.
- Training centres providing further education and training.
- Mutual help communities for adults with varying degrees of intellectual disability and other support needs
- Working residential communities for adults
- Enterprise projects with work experience opportunities for residents from the communities and day attendees
- Independent, supported accommodation.
We are desperately in need of funding for repairs to out buildings and to update our fleet of vehicles, which are essential for our community members with support needs to be able to get out and about.
overview
Our belief is that no matter what an individual's disability may appear to be, the spirit - the essential core that makes us all human - always remains whole. Everyone deserves equal respect and opportunities in life to enable them to fulfil their full potential.
In Camphill, we believe that mutual support and respect for each other creates a healthy environment for healing and development.
We offer homes and work opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities and other support needs.
Everyone's contribution is valued, and individuality is recognised. We acknowledge every person's right to equality and self-determination and encourage participation in decision-making in work, social, cultural, spiritual, and home life.
where your money goes
