Boston Scientific Clonmel Charity

Each year Boston Scientific Employees nominate and vote for the charity of their choice that they would love to support for the year. We aim to fundraise €35,000 towards the charities identified project. Thank you for your continued support and donations each year.

The charity of the year for 2024 has been chosen, we will be fundraising for Panda Playground this year.

A message from the charity: "In response to the heartfelt need and desire of the community in Ballymacarbry, the charity is embarking on an inspiring venture - the construction of Panda Playground. This playground holds special significance as it's dedicated to the memory of our beloved local hero, Danny Norris.

Panda Playground aims to cater to toddlers, children and everyone in between. Our vision includes sensory equipment, wheelchair accessibility and robust safety measures. We look forward to honoring Danny's memory and creating a playground that fosters joy, laughter and inclusivity in our beautiful village".

Since 2007, our site Charity Committee and site employees have raised over €850,000 for worthwhile charities who serve our communities every day. These have included; renovations to services in our communities, the development of playgrounds, sensory gardens and outdoor spaces, the provision of much needed service vehicles and many more.
We would like to express our extreme gratitude to everyone who has donated to our charities over the years and to all the employees who have taken their time to nominate these charities, without these nominations, we wouldn't be able to support our communities.
