Cause Description

We are a registered charitable organisation (Charity No: 19276) set up in the memory of former Cancer patient Attracta Doherty.

Our Mission is:
To simply make a difference, by helping cancer patients and their families.
By providing easier access to care for all and thus an enhanced quality of life for all those affected by cancer.

Our primary aim in fundraising is to assist Cancer patients and their families, through funding our chosen charities and thus assist and complement them in the provision of patient care and comfort.

This is an area that is greatly under resourced and very reliant on donations from all.

A small effort on everyone’s behalf will certainly ensure that all the work of the personnel involved in cancer patient care and comfort is acknowledged in an encouraging way.

All our fundraising efforts are directed towards Cancer Patient Care. With this in mind our chosen cancer-specific organisations who we fundraise for are:

- Mater Hospital Oncology Unit, Dublin

- Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care

- Virginia Cancer Group

- Baileborough Cancer Group
