On 31st January 2022, while undertaking his usual training cycle, Woodford native, Joe Mullin, was involved in a serious road accident in which he received multiple injuries.
Since that time Joe has been receiving hospital treatment in Galway while awaiting admittance to the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire.
Although he is making steady progress, all medical advice suggests that his recouperation will be a long and arduous process.
A special fundraising committee has been established to raise much-needed funds for Joe and his family at this difficult time and into the future.
