NiteLine

NiteLine is a student-run listening service and crisis helpline for students in DBS, DCU, MU, NCAD, RCSI, TCD, TU Dublin and UCD. We offer a phone (1800 793 793) and instant messaging service (NiteLine.ie), open from 9 pm to 2:30 am, every night of the week during the academic term. Students can call us to discuss anything on their mind, such as college stress, relationship issues, loneliness, self-harm, and suicide. At NiteLine, no problem is too big or too small.

Our service is based on four pillars: Confidential, Anonymous, Non-judgemental, Non-directive. When a student calls us, they can rest assured that the call will stay between them and the volunteer. They won't be judged for what they say and they won't be told what to do.

We also run a variety of workshops and events on college campuses to raise awareness about student mental health.

As a registered charity, we rely on the generous support of our seven affiliated colleges and donations from the public.
