history
Margaret spent one month in Kenya as a seondary school teacher at Ndiini School in July 2011. It soon became clear that the students recieved no food from the moment they began school at approx. 7.30am until they finished at 4pm. On her return to Ireland, Ndiini School Food Programme was founded to provide a basic nutritious meal to the students of Ndiini School. It is now a fully registered Irish charity working in partnership with Kenyan charity Food4Education.
