On the 27th of September 2017, Cillian aged 21, tragically died in a mountain climbing accident in Vancouver, Canada. A beautiful person who will forever live in our hearts. The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT) were a great source of support and comfort in a most difficult time for his family. In memory of Cillian, we wish to raise funds for the KBRT so they can continue their fantastic work in helping other families to bring their loved ones home when they die overseas.
In a very emotional and heartbreaking time, having the KBRT available to advise and co-ordinate the repatriation of Cillian's body, which is a very complex and costly process, was a wonderful support for which we will be forever grateful. On average 5 Irish people a week die overseas and many of those families turn to the KBRT for help to bring their loved ones home to be buried in Ireland. Any support you can give to this charity is most welcome.
