My name is Daniel Rafter, I hail from Ballina, Co. Mayo. I am a 5th-year student in Gortnor Abbey, Crossmolina. Before lockdown, I trained in kickboxing and I have really missed going to the gym, so when the lockdown came again I began running. I started training on Jan 14th and all going to plan I will embark on my first ever marathon on April 24th. Running a marathon has always been a lifetime goal for me and to be able to do it for such a great cause like Mayo Roscommon Hospice makes it all the better. All funds raised here will go directly to this incredible charity and cause who do so much for those suffering with terminal illness. I hope you can help me support Mayo Roscommon Hospice by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely.
