I am aiming to raise €1,000 for these two deserving charities. The Simon Community needs no introduction and we are all aware of the tremendous work they do for the homeless. Their services continue to come under pressure as the homeless crisis in our society continues to grow. 

Walk for Life is a small Cork based charity which has done excellent work both in Ireland and Africa over the past 20 years. Almost €500,000 has been given to various causes and crucially not one cent has been deducted in administration costs. Many hundreds of childrens' lives have been saved by the funds contributed to Walk for Life.

Please note that all costs relating to the marathon are of course being paid by me personally.
