Helium Arts is an award-winning Irish charity giving children and young people with lifelong health conditions the chance to shine. 24% of children in Ireland are living with a lifelong health condition. 13% of these children report to be hampered by that condition. A lifelong health condition is one which can be treated and managed but usually not cured. Children with lifelong health conditions can experience stress and they report increased anxiety and loneliness because of their condition.
