Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page on iDonate.ie The staff at Interchem/PharVet are taking part in a Fundraising Staff Walk on Thursday 27th of June 2019 . We've chosen to fundraise for My Canine Companion. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. My Canine Companion was set up in 2011 by Cliona O’Rourke, who was the first to set up a training programme for autism service dogs in Europe. The charity trains assistance dogs for children and young adults who have Autism and Asperger’s. My Canine Companion is the largest training provider for service dogs in Ireland of all the Irish service dog charities, training two thirds of the autism service dogs that work in Ireland. It costs €10,000 to train a service dog and takes two years. My Canine Companion receives no government funding, relying completely on fundraising and donations. For more information on the charity check out www.mycaninecompanion.ie
