Leitrim London

Fundraising For Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and North West Hospice and Patient Comfort Fund St. Patrick's Hospital Carrick
Latest Update !!

Leitrim2London cycle are having a celebration night in the Leitrim Inn on Friday 20th May at 9pm, Wallop the Spot are playing, we hope you can join us to celebrate this fantastic achievement !

Story

Taking on the challenge are David Regan, Hilda Reynolds, Ciaran Corcoran, Martin Murtagh, Mark Lynch, Johnathan Moffat, Kevin Regan, Seamus Regan, Rhona Bohan, Margaret Grimes, Kevin Lynch, Beirne Bohan, Mark Chandler, Gerry McLoughlin, Aran McLoughlin, Paul Regan, Peter Gill, Sean Mulvey and Ross McLoughlin.

The group have come together to support causes that are close to their hearts; Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA), and support services of the North West Hospice and St. Patricks Hospital Patient Comfort Fund, Carrick-on-Shannon.

Anyone who has been touched by MND knows only too well the impact it has not only on the person suffering with the disease, but on the whole family and those closest to them. It is progressive and requires professional care and treatment which is where the invaluable support services come from places like the North West Hospice & St. Patricks Hospital. Our aim - and with your help too !  is to improve the quality of life for those with MND and the level of support that their families receive.

We have all seen Charlie Birds story on the Late Late show and this has inspired a nationwide drive to get out there and do something, no matter how small to raise awareness and much need funds for these charities that support people with MND and their families.

We decided to cycle from Leitrim2London, starting across Ireland and then the UK on the run into Easter weekend as Leitrim county heads to Ruislip to take on London GAA - the first championship game under Mayo legend Andy Moran ! Big things expected ! We thought this would be a great way to get publicity and raise the profile of the event and hopefully get plenty of donations along the way !

We were inspired and so can you - do something local like a walk or climb a hill and send this link to your friends and family for donations - You can do your bit and be involved !!  Dont forget to leave a message for us and tell us what you did !

All support is very much appreciated - so please click to make a donation and make a difference ! All donations are processed securely and will be distributed evenly across our 3 causes.

Please share our page using Share options link. Or just copy the link and send to you friends, family and work colleagues This is a great way to show your support and spread the word !
