Hi, my name is Martha McNerney and I have the hair that everyone wishes they had. It's long and curly and I have never had it cut so when it's wet it hangs all the way down my back...

...and I'm cutting it all off (well most of it) and donating it for wigs for children who have lost their hair because of diseases like leukaemia. I am using this opportunity to raise money for Purple House (Wicklow/South County Dublin Cancer Support) play therapy workshops for children and teenagers. This service helps young people my age who are affected by a cancer diagnosis in their family.

The lovely people in Shade's Hair Studio in Ballybrack are doing the shearing on the 1st February 2019.

Remember, you will be losing a small amount of money, whereas I will be sacrificing my hair!! Please give generously.
