On Sunday 3rd of June 2018 we're going to put on our shorts, t-shirts, and legwarmers*, and pump our legs for 10km! In other words, we're taking part in VHI Women’s Mini Marathon.

Our Challenge
On Sunday 3rd of June 2018 we're going to put on our shorts, t-shirts, and legwarmers*, and pump our legs for 10km! In other words, we're taking part in VHI Women’s Mini Marathon.
We have chosen to fundraise for The Miscarriage Association of Ireland. This is a wonderful charity supporting people through one of the worst experiences they could ever go through.
Fionna's Story
There is no heartbeat.
Four simple words can break you apart; leave you with no air, no vision, no speech.
Thirteen years ago we lost our much loved baby, Ferdia, through miscarriage. When we were given the news our entire world tilted on its axis. We walked back out of those heavy wooden hospital doors into too bright sunlight holding a precious scan photograph instead of our child.
Enter the Miscarriage Association. They listen, they understand, they are there. The association is run solely by volunteers who have all been through the loss of a baby through miscarriage. They provide support to anyone experiencing loss through miscarriage, whether it occurred yesterday or thirty years ago. The funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
