It would have been hard for our club not to partake in Mondello24hr when the venue is right at our doorstep. Members are taking part at their own expense but have sought the opportunity to raise as much funds as they can for the worthy charity that is Saplings Special School Kill which provides a unique eduacation for children aged 4 to 18 with autism and complex needs, that is a beneficiary of our annual sportive The Tour De Foothills that could not be run unfortunately.
The team is saluted for their efforts taking on this gruelling challenge and at the same time doing something for those facing a daily challenge raising funds for such a worthy cause…

Saplings is a special school for children aged 4 to 18 with autism and complex needs, in Kill, County Kildare .The Parents Association of the school have set up this fundraising page to help us secure funds for any improvements that need to be made within the school that are not covered by Department of Education and Skills funding. The school was built in the 1950s (originally as a mainstream school) and as such requires a lot of upkeep and running repairs. We only have 30 students in the schoo
