What started as 2 of my best friends from college deciding to complete the marathon, and me meeting them at the finish line with a pint, has surprisingly turned into me deciding to attempt the marathon as well.
These 2 charities are really close to my heart. The first, MS Ireland, is a charity extremely important to many of my friends as we have people close to us with MS, and we hope that contrinuitions in funding towards more research will help their futures in the best possible way.
The 2nd, Dog Action Welfare Group, is a rescue charity for dogs that have been abandoned, abused or injured. On my Facebook news feed they are always crying out for donations to help with vet bills especially for poor dogs and puppies that are in trouble through no fault of their own.
Please donate whatever you can, as Tesco says every little helps, and I promise I'll post an embarrassing picture of how red my face is when the marathon is finished!
Go raibh míle maith agaibh!! Xxx
