The service provides non-judgemental, confidential, emotional support to people experiencing distress or despair, including suicidal feelings. Samaritans are available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week and encourage people in need of support to get in touch. Samaritans have been operating in Ireland since 1962 and we have 13 branches in the ROI.
