Archie(11), George(7) and Isaac(7) , all brothers - each have the same incurable and life limiting disease - Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). The young boys’ grandparents and their father Padraic lived next door to me growing up. Wonderful neighbours and great family friends, there were no questions asked when help was needed! Padraic's 3 beautiful boys have been diagnosed with this rare and fatal disease and are now the ones who need help. Currently there is no treatment for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - there is no cure.
Join Our Boys Trust was set up with the ultimate aim to ensure a treatment and cure is found. The founders work tirelessly every day to ensure this one day comes through. They need help.
In just under two weeks I will be participating in the West London half Marathon and as part of this I will be looking to raise funds and awareness of this catastrophic disease. Please read Archie, George and Isaac's full story and if possible please give what you can. Just as importantly please spread the word and awareness about DMD. Thank you in advance for your support.

It is a 100% fatal, neuromuscular disease that affects 1 in every 3,500 boys and each year 20,000 children worldwide are born with DMD; 99% of these are boys. There are no words to describe h
