Foxford Riverfest is all set for 18/19th August 2023, with our famous and much loved Candles to the Sea on Friday evening 18 August then crafters, stalls, food, and all things fishing and River Moy related on Saturday 19 August.

For 2023 we really want to bring more music to the town on the Saturday evening, as we did pre-pandemic,with opportunities for our amazing young local musicians to showcase their talents. For this we need additional funds to create a really good stage setup which we can also use during the day, making a much more accessible, safe and welcoming performance space for our young musicians.

We also want to have a better set-up for our crafter, food and fishing related exhibitors. We have an offer to make us a set of stalls that are easy to set up, light to move around and should provide good cover for both stallholders and visitors.

We have just got our own container to store our equipment but need to fit it out with shelving and storage areas, allowing us over the next few years to improve the whole Riverfest experience with better equipment for all aspects of the Festival.

For this year we have set an ambitious target to raise €5000 to help finance these major improvements to our community festival. Please do support our Crowdfunder request and help us make Riverfest 2023 (another!) amazing festival to remember!
