Dementia Ireland was founded by Carmel Geoghegan who cared for her Mum Angela till end of life. Now as a tribute to all those living with or waiting for a diagnosis, Dementia Ireland aims to bring the conversation into the public domain to normalise the disease. To erase the misunderstanding and stigma attached to dementia and by highlighting this brain disease hopefully life for those of us who live with whatever form of dementia will experience a more balanced and fulfilled life.
