Hi everyone! :) On June 3rd, I am running in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon in aid of Cliona's Foundation. Cliona's Foundation is a charity which was set up in 2007 by Brendan and Terry Ring following the death of their daughter Cliona from an inoperable brain tumour. 

Cliona's Foundation is a fantastic charity which provides medical assistance to families to cover the non medical expenses that arise when looking after terminal or critically ill children.  Examples include : petrol costs, paying household bills, hotel cover while the child is in hospital etc. 

It is the only children's charity in Ireland that focuses completely on non medical assistance for families with children that have life limiting illnesses. 

Any donation is greatly appreciated and your support will help alleviate some of the stresses felt by families already struggling to cope with the nightmare of having a serious child.
