I want to help raise funds for a illness that affects between 2 and 10% of all women within the general population. This is a ilness that I have suffered with for over half of my life and it is a debiliting and chronic illness. I myself have had over 10 surgeries with mine and possibly more to come. To look at me you wouldn't know that I struggle every day with simple things that shouldn't be a struggle, hoovering, lifting and even to pick up my babies is agony. Anyone who knows me will know that I don't complain or moan and i force myself to do the everyday things when all I feel like doing is lying down and just giving up. but I can't as I have 2 children I need to take care of. I don't like to moan or complain and hate asking anyone to help but if you can it will be a big help to the Endometriosis association of Ireland.
SO I am going to overcome my Fear and Jump or be pushed for ENDO!!!!!
THERE IS NO CURE FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS.. It affects your everyday life from the simpleiest of things of daily life and impacts on relationships and also friendships. up to 50% of women with infertility have Endometriosis. it is defined as the presence of endometrial like tissue outside the uterus. these are found mainly in the pelvis, however the can be found in other sites.including the bowel. they cause a inflammatory reaction leading to pain and adhesions. other symptoms which can occur are heavy bleeding, clotting, fatigue and severe fatigur continous pelvic pain, insomnia, lower back pain, nausea and diarrhoea. The pain that is experienced by women with this illness is not a small minor pain, it is a pain so extreme that each amazing women who suffers can only describe yours. My own pain is so bad that it feels like I am being stabbed repetedly, and that I have been run over by a bus again and again, every day, all day long. I do not get any relief and only the the cocktail of pain medication eases it slightly. there is no answer as to what causes this Endometriosis or why some women develop it and others do not. the only definite way to diagnosis it is with surgery, which in itself doesnt help as surgery then causes more problems and it is a vicious circle. ENDOMETRIOSIS is not a visible illness, you would not know somebody has it , its not glamarous and does not receive much media support or attention in helping to raise funds or publicity. I really would like to raise funds and one of teh ways I am doing it is to do a parachute jump and overcome my fear in support of the BRAVE AND AMAZING ENDOWARRIORS WHO SUFFER EVERYDAY!!!!! I'D APPRECIATE ANY HELP AT ALL

The Endometriosis Association of Ireland is here to provide support and information for those living with endometriosis and to promote research into this disease. We also strive to raise awareness of endometriosis amongst women in Ireland and the medical profession; awareness not just of the disease, but also the symptoms, effects and treatment options. We look forward to a time when all women have ready access to a timely diagnosis and receive appropriate treatment, care and support. The
