Cork Calcutta Run

Type of Event : Running or marathons
Where : Cork, Blackrock
When : 27th May 2018
Description :

The Calcutta Run celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. During the past 20 years, the run has helped countless homeless young people in Ireland and in India through donations to the Peter McVerry Trust and The Hope Foundation.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first Calcutta run in Dublin, the Southern Law Association in association with the Law Society, will be organising a 5k fun run/walk in Blackrock, Cork on Sunday the 27th of May 2018.

We would encourage all members of the legal community in Cork to take part, with their staff, families and friends (including their 4 legged ones!) and support the event, making it a fun day out for all, while supporting a very worthwhile cause.

We will be working in conjunction with The HOPE Foundation and S.H.A.R.E., our local Cork charity, to support local homeless.

Let’s help to raise €300,000 together with the Dublin run. All money raised in Cork will be divided between both charities. There is no registration fee, so please try your best to raise as much sponsorship as possible! Receive a goodie bag and a technical t-shirt as our way of saying thank you!
