Down Syndrome Ireland launched the 21Day challenge in 2020, it had great uptake and with anyone being able to take part we set it up again for 2021. Take part by yourself or create a team of family, friends or colleagues and take that first step towards achieving your 2021 fitness goals.
About our 21 Day Challenge
Can you run, jog, walk, cycle or swim 100 kms in 21 days, however and wherever you like! That’s the challenge. Whether it’s in your local park, on the streets or in the gym, you decide the place and you decide the pace. Your challenge must run for 21 consecutive days but you choose your start date.
By taking part, you will be helping to raise money which will allow DSI to continue providing essential services, programmes and supports to children and adults with Down syndrome right across the country.
Why 21 days?
Down syndrome occurs when there is one extra copy of chromosome 21 in cells in the body. That’s why we’ve selected 21 days.
How it works
