“Sunrise Up Croagh Patrick” is an annual Sponsored climb up Croagh Patrick or walk nearby to raise funds for worthwhile charities fighting Brain Conditions. The event has grown and attracted wider support from many great people who have been affected by Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s, Motor Neuron Disease & Dementia. We are delighted to say that with everybody’s help in 2019, Sunrise Up Croagh Patrick has raised over €25,000, which is fantastic; In total that’s over €65,000 since we first started. Thank You All.
The Irish Associations for Huntington’s, Parkinson’s and Motor Neurone Diseases have used these funds to provide specialist care and support to people with these conditions and their families. Your support and participation in 2020 will help these 3 worthy Brain Condition charities provide even more of this much needed specialist care.
This year’s event is our 6th but unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic we will not be able to host our annual Sunrise up Croagh Patrick challenge in Westport this year.
However, in its place we will have a Virtual Sunrise Up Croagh Patrick during the month of June.
Participants will do a Virtually Sunrise Croagh Patrick Challenge (27,000 steps = 20.5 km) – once, twice or more … it is up to participants to choose their steps target.
During the month of June 2020, they will walk/run/dance/climb stairs – building as many steps as they can whether in their home, garden or during daily exercise outdoors (respecting the HSE/NHS directions).
Please Donate and sponsor to raise much needed funds for our chosen Brain Condition (Neurological Disease) Charities:
