Blackwater 169 Challenge

The 'Blackwater 169 Challenge'.

This year, the Blackwater Search and Rescue divers and volunteers have innovated their usual way of fundraising (due to the pandemic). We have challenged ourselves to collectively swim the river Blackwater, all 169 Km in length. By completing this challenge as a group, we aim to raise vital funds to support our volunteer search and rescue missions in our communities and nationwide. 

What can you do -

• Spread the word that the event is taking place and most importantly if you can, please donate.
• You can take on the challenge with us by cycling, walking, running or rowing 169km.
• Have fun, take on the challenge and support a great cause.

We would also like to say a huge Thank You to everyone who has donated, fundraised and supported the Blackwater Search and Rescue Unit. These donations will help us continue vital volunteering in our local communities and nationwide.

*Please note, that all events should occur within the Government Covid-19 guidelines. Our divers and volunteers, will be following all guidelines throughout their challenge.
