TELUS International Ireland is proud to announce our largest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity for 2021 #GOALLOUT Virtual TELUS Days of Giving (TDOG) challenge. We’re asking our team members to volunteer to sign up to virtually climb Mount Kilimanjaro which is a total of 97km over the course of two weeks in aid of our charity partners Aware and My Lovely Horse Rescue. Volunteers will be asked to fundraise in the lead up to the event with an aim of achieving a whopping €50,000 target!
The challenge will take place from September 10th to 24th.
Volunteers will get a free subscription to the Conqueror Virtual Challenge App where they can log and track their progress for the course of the event (please wait until we contact you with instructions before downloading the app and subscribing to the challenge). Volunteers can use any form of exercise towards their total distance. Everything from a HIIT class, to a game of golf, or even housework and gardening! Volunteers can either choose to take on the entire challenge on their own; or create a team of up to 4 people to complete the distance together (i.e. in a team of 4 it would work out as 24.25km each).
It is our aim that 500 team members would take part, raising approximately €100 each (or as much as you can). The total amount raised will be split 50/50 between Aware and My Lovely Horse Rescue. Team members will raise funds via individual iDonate pages that link back to the main #GOALLOUT TDOG collection pot. If you choose to take part in the challenge as a team, you should still fundraise as individuals to maximise the money we raise.
