Wear Jeans for Rare Genes -
October 18th - 31st - Rare Diseases Ireland and Rare Ireland Family Support Network are collaborating to raise awareness of genetics and people living with rare genetic conditions. By sharing stories of the daily challenges faced by those living with a rare genetic conditions we hope to raise awareness of the estimated 300,000 people living with rare conditions in Ireland and their families. We want people to wear jeans, take a selfie and share on their social channels to show their support for teh rare community and donate money to our Jeans for Genes campaign.
We will share the money raised between Rare Diseases Ireland and Rare Ireland Family Support Network.
Rare Diseases Ireland: Your donations will enable RDI to continue to advocate for changes in Government, Department of Health and HSE policy, strategy, planning and implementation on behalf of people living with rare conditions, and allow us to hold those in positions of responsibility to account and monitor implementation of strategies and operational plans.
Rare Ireland Family Support Network: Your donations will allow RIFSN to support families accessing psychological support to help them manage the challenges of living with a rare condition.
