Clonakilty Cycling Club Malin2Mizen Cycle in aid of ICAA

A team of 17 cyclists from Clonakilty Cycling Club are taking on a Malin Head to Mizen Head over 4 days; Friday 29th April to Monday 2nd May 2022.

We are supporting Irish Community Air Ambulance, a cause we feel very passionate about. This year they have been tasked to 79 Road Traffic Collisions and 10 of those involved cyclists.

Each mission costs the charity an average of €3,500. They currently receive no Government funding and are 100% reliant on fundraising and people’s generosity to fund the service. The cost to run the charity in 2021 is €2.1 million with the HEMS Air Ambulance alone expected to cost €1.55m this year.
