I recently joined the team at Rathmines Pembroke Community Partnership as a Project Worker in Gateway. Now I'm representing them in WALK's Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser, and getting great support!

Gateway is a member-led project for people with self-experience of mental health difficulties. The Project is about support and integration: supporting people to identify their options and make their own decisions and to integrate back into the community and its social, cultural, education and working life.

We have a drop-in facility which provides a space for people to meet and socialize and a range of programmes which work to promote positive mental health and encourage individual self-esteem, confidence and motivation.

I will be dancing the Cha-cha-cha with Mark on the night. I'm really enjoying the dance classes, but I'm pretty terrified of dancing in front of an audience!
