As part of my journey to cycle across america I will be raising funds for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Kevin Bell, a year older than me in school, was living in New York when he was tragically struck down in a hit and run incident in the Bronx area. Kevin’s family have set up the trust after his death to help other families financially with the costs of repatriating the body of their loved ones from abroad. I have decided to raise funds for this great charity because when I hear on the news that someone has died abroad almost every time it’s anounced that KBRT are providing assistance to the families. It’s only now when hearing this, that it struck me just how many people from Ireland die abroad and how the families of these people have the task of getting their body back home.
Well Done Jamie and Darren. Brilliant event for a fantastic charity!!
So proud you Darren amazing achievement.
