Hi,
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I'm abseiling off the roof of the Hogan Stand at Croke Park on Saturday the 8th of October. I am doing this to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA), they are the only support organisation in Ireland for people living with Motor Neurone Disease. MND is a progressive neurological condition that attacks the motor neurones, this means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. There is no cure for MND and it is often referred to as the 1,000 day disease as most people die within 1,000 days of being diagnosed.
The IMNDA provide care and support to people with Motor Neurone Disease, their carers and families. Their services include access to a specialised nursing service, provision of medical equipment, financial assistance towards home care, counselling and funding towards research. They rely on donations and fundraising to make up 86% of their funds!
Please dig deep and help me help them by donating whatever you can, no matter how small. It is deeply appreciated. :)

About the Cause
Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association
The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation of its kind in the country providing specialised services to families affected by this terminal condition.
The Association cannot slow the progression of MND or change the outcome but we can alleviate the feelings of isolation and frustration. We offer consistent support to approximately 450 families across Ireland who otherwise would have nowhere else to turn. Everybody with MND has different needs at different stag
