I have been involved with Op Walk Ireland since 2016. I feel extremely privileged to be able to give back to those that are less fortunate than ourselves. I always think of the quote "Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for the one person". I have seen first hand the difference that joint replacement surgery has meant to these patients that would have no other means of having this surgery if it wasn't for Operation Walk. To be left disabled due to health conditions and being unable to provide for your family or yourself, to being able to mobilise again, be free of pain and able to work and provide for your family is totally life changing. To carry out these surgeries, it is the equivalent of shipping a small hospital, with supplies and a team half way across the world. Times are challenging for everyone at the moment, so any donation at all is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting me in helping make this mission possible. Please see our Facebook page/Instragram page for wonderful stories and fabulous videos and photos from our previous patients and how well our patients are doing.
