This year I am joing Operation Walk and travelling to Vietnam with a group of Irish Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Nurses, Physiotherapists, Anaesthetists and Orthopaedic Nurses. We plan on doing 60 joint replacements within a week for people with advanced arthritis. Joint replacement is available in Vietnam but costs approximately THREE times the average annual income. Each individual travelling must raise €1500. I would really appreciate any support that can be given.
