The family and Friends of the late Avril Duffy are indebted to the Galway Hospice for the wonderful care that Avril received there.

Like so many others, we did not know about the services that Galway Hospice provide - free of charge in the Hospice or in the patients home.

This service has to be funded to the tune of 1.8million each year - through various fund raising events.

Ours is one of these very important events.

We have a major fundraising event - a Mock wedding on Saturday 11th March in Sullivan’s Hotel, Gort.

All proceeds go directly to the Galway Hospice.

Please consider the needs of all our families who may someday need this service.

Give what you can - it will be very well spent for the good of our community.
