In early December, 2013 I finally got a diagnosis of having epilespy (after a few eventful episodes on campus). After some time I am really able to go public with my codition as I have the confidence to finally do so and have an amazing family and group of friends that are always there for me through all of my various seizures (no matter if they are big or small)

I have decided to take part in the VHI mini marathon to raise funds for this wonderful charity that has really helped me come to terms with my condition and help educate myself and people around about it. Can not speak more highly of this fantastic support and the wonderful friendly face of the North West's Community Resource Officer!

Epilepsy Ireland carry out wonderful work in providing support in various ways like seminars, support meetings and training classes throughtout the country that are free of charge.
