SOSAD Ireland are a suicide prevention and awareness organisation who do amazing work within the community helping those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, bereavement or suicidal thoughts, they offer free counselling to people for as long as is needed.
Boomerang is the 2nd organisation I will be raising money for, I have been a support worker with this organisation for the past few years so I can see first hand the amazing work they do. Their service aims to meet the social, developmental and personal needs of young people, all of which is carried out within their communities.
The final service which I will be Fundraising for is the 5th Floor of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, the children's ward. The doctors and nurses do such a good job caring for the children who are ill. I want to raise much needed money for the ward which may go towards vital equipment to improve the lives of many children or even just to put a smile on their faces.
