On the 25th of April, Billy's birthday, we will jump from a plane flying at a height of approximately 10,000 ft & plunge to the ground at a speed of 200km/h, all in the hope of raising as much money as we can on for Riverview, Cope Foundation.
Cope Foundation has played a huge role in Billy's life. After starting school in St. Paul's as a young boy, he entered into the working world, spending most of his career in Vicar's Road.
After many happy years of enjoying semi-retirement in Glasheen, Billy became unwell. As time went on and his condition became more complicated, Billy moved from his family home into residential care in Riverview. Here Billy found a second home, a warm and loving environment where the staff not only cared for him but also became his friends. The wonderful staff supported Billy and our whole family through what were a challenging number of years filled with both countless hospitalisations and complete joy. We hope that with your kind donations we can help Riverview to continue to offer this wonderful support to other families.
Any donation which you can offer will be so greatly appreciated and, please know that it's impossible to put a price on the joy which Billy would have gotten from seeing how totally petrified we are to do this skydive!!
Go raibh mile maith agaibh a chairde.
