Kevin Geoghegan passed away from a cancer related illness in November 2016. He was a vibrant soul, one who literally lit up a room whenever he entered, full of fun and laughter and always eager to help out no matter what the problem was. Prior to his death he had one wish which was to initiate a fundraising campaign in aid of Tuam Cancer Care and Galway Hospice. We his family and friends inspired by his selflessness in putting others first even in his final days have created this page in the hope of seeing his wish become a reality.
The funds that are raised will go directly to Tuam Caner Care and Galway Hospice who provide emotional and practical support, Home Care and day Care services to cancer patients and their families.
All services are free and these charities are reliant on voluntary contributions and fundraising to ensure continued support to patients and their families in Tuam and Galway area for as long as required during a difficult time in their lives.
We are also holding a fundraising night in which Kevin had orgainied before his passing on the 23rd of April in Geoghegans Nightclub High St. Tuam, Co Galway. Door open at 5pm. Tickets on sale from family members/friends and local businesses in the Tuam area.
Your support in helping is much needed and we cant thank you enough for your support.

About the Cause
Tuam Cancer Care
Tuam Cancer Care is a voluntary organisation that offers psychological, emotional and practical support to people with a cancer diagnosis and their families.
It is hoped that the support provided will help the person with a cancer diagnosis to regain control of their lives and enhance their personal coping skills, during a difficult period of their lives. As cancer is very much a family affair, family members are also supported at this difficult time.
Galway Hospice Foundation is a voluntary organisation. It was established in 1986 when a group of local doctors and nurses came together with a view to developing hospice services for the people of Galway city and county, as no such services existed there at the time.
